WWE Superstar Xavier Woods appears to have learned of the recent roster cuts while taking part in a live TV broadcast.
News of the latest round of cuts to the WWE roster was broken by Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp on November 18th. The eight Superstars who were let go were Hit Row, John Morrison, Tegan Nox, Jaxson Ryker, Shane Thorne, and Drake Maverick.
Video footage has now circulated on social media showing that this year’s King of the Ring, Xavier Woods, appears to have heard about the news during a break on G4’s ‘Attack of the show’
In the footage, the New Day star is seen rushing off the set after looking at his phone. When he returns just after the ad break ends, the host asks if he wants to talk about anything, but Woods says he “probably shouldn’t”.

Following this latest round of roster cuts, the total number of people released by WWE in 2021 now stands at 80. It has been reported that the reason John Laurinaitis gave for the move is “budget cuts.”
Some of the flagship names let go this year are former title holders, including the likes of include Bray Wyatt, Braun Strowman, Nia Jax, Mickie James, Andrade and Aleister Black.
