WWE Raw Superstar Unrecognisable With New Look

WWE Raw Superstar Karrion Kross walks down street

Following recent reports that he’s set to make changes to his appearance, WWE Raw Superstar Karrion Kross has revealed a new look on Twitter.

Karrion Kross had a dominant run in NXT during which he became a two-time NXT Champion and remained undefeated in the ring. However, on his debut as part of WWE Raw, Kross lost his first match on the main roster, against the veteran Jeff Hardy, in just over a minute.

Kross was given a new appearance after this rocky start on the main roster. It included a mask/helmet combo worn during his entrance and new apparel with straps across his chest, the aim of the change was reportedly to make him more marketable.

Several days ago, reports emerged that Karrion Kross was set for more changes, with WrestleVotes claiming that his entire presentation would be updated.

“Source states WWE is shifting Karrion Kross’ character once again. Plan is for him to be more of a “psycho” yet still “calm & cool.” As of now the helmet stays, but for whatever reason, still no Scarlett. Presentation of entrance including theme music set to change as well.”

A new photoshoot with Illite Fotos may have given us our first glimpses of what the changes will be. The images show Kross looking unrecognisable with a new look that has seen him shave off his facial hair and let his hair grow in.

Kross discussed the look he is currently using on WWE TV during an appearance on the Table Talk podcast. He revealed that the presentation of his character was inspired by gladiators in the coliseum.

“My original concept was like, this feels like what the coliseum days would be like. We’re in a circular area with people around. With the character presentation of Karrion Kross and the development, this wasn’t just a regular match people were getting into. Win or lose, you might not be coming out the same way.”

Following his loss to Jeff Hardy on July 19th, Karrion Kross has gone back to his more dominant ways, putting together an impressive winning streak. His last match to date took place on the September 27th edition of Raw, where defeated Jaxson Ryker in under two minutes.
