A new report following the conclusion of this year’s Royal Rumble has claimed that WWE has not yet made a decision on what the WWE Title match at WrestleMania 38 should be.
Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar stepped their rivalry up another few notches at the 2022 Royal Rumble. ‘The Head Of The Table’ opened the show by putting his Universal Championship on the line against Seth Rollins in a match where Reigns ended up getting himself disqualified to retain the title after refusing to release a guillotine choke when Rollins had reached the ropes.
Lesnar went on to defend the WWE Championship later in the show against ‘The All Mighty’ Bobby Lashley. After the referee got knocked down in the middle of Lesnar hitting an F5, Reigns appeared once again and speared Lesnar.
This was followed by Paul Heyman once again switching sides by handing Reigns the title belt to level Lesnar, with the duo then leaving as Bobby Lashley came to and made the pin to become the new WWE Champion.
In the final shock of the show, Brock Lesnar was revealed as the number thirty entrant in the Men’s Royal Rumble match, cleaning house to earn his choice of title shot at WrestleMania.
Whilst this seems to have the stall for the match between Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns which was originally set to take place at Day 1, it would seem WWE are yet to make a decision on who Bobby Lashley should defend against at WrestleMania.
A report from WrestleVotes says that WWE currently has “no idea” for the match – or whether ‘The All Mighty’ will still hold the gold at that point.
Lesnar had to be the winner here. I’m told they legitimately have no idea what the WWE Title match at Mania is going to be at this point. Avoid the ol pigeon hole.

Ronda Rousey returned to win the Women’s Rumble match, and after eliminating ‘The Queen’ it would seem she’s on for a collision with Charlotte Flair at ‘The Showcase Of The Immortals’.
