WWE Hall Of Famer Apologises For Being “A D*ck” To The Rock

The Rock cuts a promo

WWE Hall Of Famer Kevin Nash has apologised to The Rock on social media for being “a d*ck” to him back in 2002.

In 2002 The Rock was at the peak of his wrestling career and one of the top stars in WWE. He was also taking the first steps in a burgeoning acting career after taking the starring role in The Scorpion King.

That year, the original members of WCW’s most infamous faction, the NWO – Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash – made their return to WWE at No Way Out. It wasn’t long before the trio began feuding with both Rock and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin. This led to two matches at WrestleMania 18, with Scott Hall taking on Austin, and the huge ‘Icon vs.Icon’ match between Hulk Hogan and The Rock.

It was this period of time that Kevin Nash referred to when he apologised to eight-time WWE Champion. Nash initially posted a workout photo and gave his thanks to ‘The People’s Champion’ for the sneakers he had helped create. Rock responded by saying the former Diesel had “raised the bar” with the shape he was in. It was then that Nash took the opportunity to apologise for his behaviour nearly two decades ago.

“Following your lead. You’re work ethic is amazing. You’re filming schedule would kill most mortals but the promotion for your films is the grind. You film and promote at the same time. Sorry I was such a d*ck to you when I came back in 2002. Just trying to keep my spot.”

Kevin Nash was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame twice, both in 2015 for his individual career and then as part of the class of 2020 for his part in the NWO.
