WWE Hall Of Famer Reveals Bizarre Pitch To Be Brock Lesnar’s Sister

Brock Lesnar in the ring

WWE Hall Of Famer Beth Phoenix has revealed that she once made a detailed pitch for a storyline that would see her debut as the sister of ‘The conquerer’, Brock Lesnar.

After spending two years in WWE’s one-time developmental territory, Ohio Valley Wrestling, Beth Phoenix debuted on Raw in 2006. During her career, Phoenix became a three-time WWE Women’s Champion as well as a one-time WWE Divas Champion. She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017.

Now part of the NXT commentary team, the ‘Glamazon’ has revealed on Twitter that her character could have been quite different if WWE Producer Michael Hayes had listened to an audacious pitch she made to him early in her career.

Fun Fact: At one of my first gigs as a @WWEextra I pitched a detailed storyline to Michael Hayes to be brought in as Brock Lesnar’s sister. I had ZERO CHILL.”

Phoenix finished up her in-ring career in 2012, the same year Lesnar made his return to WWE on the night after WrestleMania 28.

Lesnar is currently undergoing a storyline suspension following his out of control actions after he lost to WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel.
