WWE Confirms Triple H Suffered A ‘Cardiac Event’, Now Recovering

Triple H

Triple H, one of the top executives in WWE, has suffered a cardiac event and is now recovering.

One of the masterminds behind NXT, Paul Levesque underwent a successful procedure last week and is expected to make a full recovery.

A statement was issued to the WWE website and social media about Triple H, who is WWE’s Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development, and read as follows:

Paul Levesque, a.k.a. Triple H, underwent a successful procedure last week at Yale New Haven Hospital following a cardiac event. The episode was caused by a genetic heart issue and Paul is expected to make a full recovery.

Originally joining WWE in 1995, Levesque came to prominence with the rise of D-Generation X. His career has gone on to make him a 14-time World Champion, with reigns spanning from 1999 to 2016.

Adding to his legendary career, Triple H is now known for his role behind the scenes with WWE, and in particular being the brainchild of NXT. This has meant he is given credit for the rise of stars such as Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch.

Triple H’s last match was in June 2019, although maybe more memorable was his No Holds Barred match with Batista at WrestleMania 35 in New Jersey.

On a personal level it is commonly known that he is in married to the Chairman’s daughter Stephanie McMahon, a relationship which began back in 2000 before the couple got married in 2003. The couple also have three daughters who were born between 2006 and 2010.

As you can imagine, everyone here wishes ‘The Game’ all the best in his recovery, and look forward to seeing him on WWE screens as soon as is possible and sensible.
