The Street Profits State Aim To Unify Tag Team Championships

The Street Profits

The Street Profits have made a startling claim that their dream WrestleMania match would be to unify the WWE Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships – and listed a plethora of talents they’d like to go up against.

Having previously held both sets of belts on a single occasion, The Street Profits are certainly a key part of the championship picture for the red brand, having recently faced current Raw title holders The Alpha Academy on the 7th February episode.

Speaking to Inside The Ropes‘ Liam Alexander-Stewart as part of the Enter The Universe event which took place in Wembley, London on 11th February, The Street Profits made their designs on a future championship run clear.

During the interview they were asked about the upcoming WrestleMania in Dallas, and made it clear that they’d be have plenty of Hall Of Famers as potential opponents for their dream match at ‘The Showcase Of The Immortals’.

MF: Past, present, future…tag teams….WrestleMania…The Grandest Stage of Them All…[singing] grandest stage of them all, with the hoop we gone ball…

AD: Could it be anyone from our Mount Rushmore… could it be Harlem Heat?

MF: Could it be The Hardy Boyz?

AD: Could it be The Dudleys or do we go traditional … I mean, we wrestled The New Day, wrestled The Usos, wrestled RK-Bro, Alpha Academy…

The Street Profits would go on to suggest that they just face them all at once – and have both sets of gold on the line in the process.

MF: How about we just add all of them? Let’s have one giant ladder match for all the marbles.

Shoot, you could add the Raw Tag Team Champions and the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, put both them titles high in the sky and go for all the marbles. On the grandest stage, we calling it now unify them, to say we’re the best of the best.

Do it, do it, do it, [shouts] DO IT!

This year’s WrestleMania will take place at AT&T Stadium across the weekend of 2nd and 3rd April. Before then, there could be a change in the SmackDown Tag Team Championship rankings when The Usos defend against The Viking Raiders at Elimination Chamber.
