The Rock Responds To Apology From Kevin Nash, Uses Phrase NWO4L

The Rock saying just bring it and holding the WWE title belt

After recently admitting to being “a dick” to him in the past, The Rock has reacted to Kevin Nash’s public apology.

The original comments were seemingly made at a time when The Brahma Bull was one of the hottest properties in WWE, but it was also when he was looking to make his first foray in to Hollywood with The Scorpion King back in 2002.

This was also the time when the nWo combination of Nash, Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan would all return to WWE, and end up feuding with ‘The Great One’ and ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.

WrestleMania 18 would be one of the boiling points for the feud, and as well as The Rattlesnake taking on Scott Hall on the show, it would also feature the ‘Icon vs. Icon’ encounter between Hulk Hogan and The Rock.

The original Diesel made a public apology to The Rock recently, saying that he remembers being rather rude to him during that time period.

Sorry I was such a d*ck to you when I came back in 2002. Just trying to keep my spot.

‘The Great One’ has now responded in a very accepting way, including saying he’s glad they had the chance to rumble and using the phrase NWO4L.

I wanted us all to link up and make a lot of(for us and the whole roster). WM18 was huge and a career highlight for me. As was our big Mania buildup when we had a chance to have fun and rumble. It was a great time in our business! Wish we could’ve worked more! NWO4L

There has been plenty of speculation in recent months as to when The Rock could make his return to the squared circle, and whether it will be on the 25 year anniversary of his debut at WWE Survivor Series 1996. However, the most recent reports on the matter would suggest that it is now highly unlikely either that or a WrestleMania clash in Dallas with Roman Reigns will happen.
