The Hurt Business Defeat WWE Raw Tag Champs, Don’t Win Belts Then Lose

The New Day

On this week’s WWE Raw, The Hurt Business cornered The New Day backstage and told them their loss at Survivor Series was an embarrassment for everyone.

After a bit of back and forth between the teams, Woods and Kingston agreed to defend the Tag Team Championships against Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander.

During the match Kingston took a hard fall to the outside, which was assisted by Alexander.

Once on the outside the title holder was attacked by Benjamin, causing Kinston to be counted out by the referee who award the match to The Hurt Business.

With the titles not changing hands on a count out, MVP told The New Day the match wasn’t ending like that and asked if they were scared

This got Kingston and Woods back in the ring for the match to be restarted.

The Hurt Business did their best to keep Kingston isolated away from Woods until he finally got the hot tag, eventually leading to Woods countering a Powerbomb attempt and rolling Benjamin up in the middle of the ring to get the pin.

This win starts to absolve The New Day’s loss to The Street Prophets at Survivor Series, and helps cement them as the team to beat on the red brand.
