With the Class Of 2022 quickly stacking up, The Steiner Brothers have been announced as the latest inductees to the WWE Hall Of Fame.

The Ringer gave the official announcement that Rick and Scott Steiner would be included in this year’s WWE Hall Of Fame, which will take place as part of WrestleMania week in Dallas, Texas straight after Friday Night SmackDown as the last stop before ‘The Showcase Of The Immortals’.

As part of The Varsity Club in Jim Crockett Promotions and WCW, Rick Steiner was the first to break on to the scene before he was joined in the late 1980’s by his brother Scott where they formed a formidable partnership.

The Steiner Brothers had a glittering career as a team, capturing the WCW Tag Team Championships on seven occasions, as well as travelling to Japan to win the IWGP Tag Team Championships twice – the same amount of times they held the WWF belts.

Dave Meltzer had previously reported on Sunday Night’s Main Event that WWE was planning to induct the duo in to the Hall Of Fame, however would have settled for one member of the team if it proved impossible to get both.

I’ve heard Rick Steiner or The Steiner Brothers, depending on Scott. I think if Scott is not willing, they’ll go with Rick. But they want The Steiner Brothers so that’s a name that’s floating around.

It would seem Scott Steiner has now relented, having previously commenting that he would reject a Hall Of Fame induction if it was offered to him. He’s also been rather outspoken towards WWE in the last few years, and in particular Triple H.

Rick’s son and Scott’s nephew Bron Breakker is also employed by the company, making a massive impact on NXT and holding the title belt on one occasion before he was dethroned by Dolph Ziggler.
