Before facing Finn Balor, Seth Rollins had come to the ring to celebrate his victory in the Survivor Series battle for brand dominance. Rollins was Team Raw’s lone survivor, defeating Jeff Hardy to capture the victory, which Rollins was quick to point out on Raw.
After running down his accomplishments from the night before, some harsh words for Finn Balor brought The Prince to the ring. But Rollins swiftly pounced on the Irishman, and while Balor tried his best to fight back, he was rapidly overwhelmed. Rollins nailed Balor with the ring steps before performing a Curb Stomp and returning to the ring for a second, leaving Balor laying.
