Scrapped Mask Concept Art For Alexa Bliss Revealed

The Fiend intimidates Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss was at one point going to wear a mask while she was at the side of ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt, according to new concept art which has been revealed.

It was the summer of 2020 when Wyatt and Bliss first became an on-screen alliance in WWE, after Bliss was brutally attacked by ‘The Fiend’. Eventually Little Miss Bliss would fall under the spell of Wyatt’s alter-ego, despite attempts from Bliss’ tag partner Nikki Cross (now Nikki A.S.H.) to stop it from happening.

The alliance expanded to the moveset Alexa Bliss used, as she started using the Sister Abigail as her finisher whilst she was at Wyatt’s side during his feud with Randy Orton.

After WrestleMania 37 where ‘The Viper’ got the better of ‘The Fiend’ (with a distraction from Bliss), the pair seemed to go their separate ways, with Wyatt eventually ending up being released by WWE.

It wasn’t just the moves Bliss used which changed during their time working together, as she also drastically changed her look and was also given new theme music, using this persona right up until disappearing from the company for a time in September 2021.

A new image has now emerged that would suggest the change of look could have been taken even further. Posting on Twitter, renowned tattoo artist Kyle A. Scarborough shared designs for a mask/make-up combo which would have been worn by Alexa Bliss during her run with Wyatt.

Fun Fact: During the beginning of AlexaBliss_WWE‘s run with #TheFiend, I was asked to mock up concept art for a potential mask/makeup combo.

Bliss last appeared on WWE television challenging Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules, where she didn’t pick up the win. Earlier in the year she had also feuded with the likes of Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler and Eva Marie.
