Roman Reigns has every right to feel confident at the moment, as ‘The Head Of The Table’ is on an unprecedented unbeaten run as WWE Universal Champion.
Having not lost a singles match since 2019 and holding his title since 30th August 2020, ‘The Tribal Chief’ is clearly taking this confidence in to his SummerSlam match with John Cena and beyond.
Taking to Twitter, Reigns has declared that he’s different than anyone before him, and also levels above anyone else in the industry.
It was finally confirmed that Reigns would defend the belt against Cena at the biggest show of the summer, although that wasn’t without Finn Balor throwing his name in the hat.
At one point Balor was set to sign a contract to the match, however when Cena gatecrashed the signing he ended up putting pen to paper himself.
Balor isn’t completely out of the picture having picked up a win over Baron Corbin last Friday on SmackDown, however he did then get beaten down by The Bloodline.
Either way it looks like the high-profile Reigns vs. Cena match is set in stone, and ‘The Tribal Chief’ will be looking to continue his streak.
