Rob Van Dam Challenges Ric Flair To “Meet Him Outside” Following Documentary

The fallout from ‘The Plane Ride From Hell’ episode of The Dark Side Of The Ring seems to keep going, with Rob Van Dam now responding to recent comments made by Ric Flair.

‘The Nature Boy’ has tried to claim that Rob Van Dam has tried to damage his reputation following the documentary, following allegations made by a flight attendant that she was sexually harassed by Flair.

It was May 2002 on a flight from the UK back to the US after a European tour where the chaos took place. In the aftermath Scott Hall and Curt Hennig were released from the company, whilst many others were either fined or ended up embroiled in lawsuits.

Flair has recently posted that he doesn’t know what to say, claiming comments by ‘The Whole F’n Show’ are an “assumption”.

A Man Tried To Destroy My Reputation Based On An Assumption. I Don’t Even Know What To Say Right Now.

After saying in the episode that Flair tried to make the flight attendant touch him, Van Dam has now clarified and contextualised his remarks.

Just watched DSOTR. Heavy. Some insight for those who can handle it- 1) I haven’t seen Ric Flair’s d*ck. My comment about fans shouldn’t see him doing the helicopter was a response to DSOTR telling me that’s what they were told. They shouldn’t. I don’t want to see it either.

2) I said “trying to make her touch him” referring to his body crowding her space and her backing up like bad breath was in her face.I thought maybe they were playing(from seeing a similar scene at the hotel bar) but I wasn’t interested in naked Ric. Still ain’t.I tried to sleep.

With someone questioning if he would ever stand up to Flair, the former ECW Champion responded fairly bluntly.

Tell him Meet me outside Weird Dude Wes. Join him.

In a somewhat confusing paradox, Van Dam was also asked who the safest wrestler he had ever been in the ring with was – and named ‘The Nature Boy’.
