Ric Flair made a surprise appearance at AAA TripleMania, accompanying Andrade to the ring for his Mega Championship match against Kenny Omega.
Earlier in the show Andrade teased that he had a big name to accompany him to the ring that night, and told his manager at the time Konnan that his services were no longer required.
This led to Konnan switching his allegiance, and instead came to the ring with defending champion Omega.
Andrade came out on to the entrance ramp for the match, before Flair’s iconic entrance music played and the 72-year-old came through the curtain.

Flair wasn’t just there to stand at ringside, getting in the ring and hitting a number of chops as well as locking in a figure four.
This assistance wasn’t enough, as Omega was able to hit a One Winged Angel on to the title belt to get the pinfall over Andrade.
The pair still squared off after the match, making it look like this won’t be a one-off contest.
This was Flair’s first appearance since being released by WWE two weeks ago, with many considering him to be heading straight to AEW as soon as he is legally able to.
Although that may take a little while longer, it is certainly surprising that he was able to make this AAA appearance so soon after his release.
