With the release of a video on their YouTube channel this evening, WWE have confirmed the penultimate member of Team Shotzi for this weekend’s women’s War Games match at NXT TakeOver.

Former NXT Women’s champion Rhea Ripley will join Shotzi Blackheart and Ember Moon on the team seat to face off against Candice LeRae, Dakota Kai, Toni Storm and Raquel Gonzalez.

The Australian grappler captained her team to victory in the same match at last year’s event and adds an extra dose of star power to an already fantastic looking match.

It is fair to expect that the final member of the team will be unveiled on Wednesday’s weekly episode.

The smart bet would seem to be NXT Women’s Champion Io Shirai who currently remains without a match on the card.

NXT TakeOver War Games takes place on Sunday December 6th. You can find out how and when to watch right here.

The currently confirmed match card is as follows:

  • Men’s War Games match: The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Bobby Fish and Roderick Strong) vs. The Kings Of NXT (Pat McAfee, Pete Dunne, Oney Lorcan
  • Women’s War Games Match: Team Shotzi (Shotzi Blackheart, Ember Moon, TBD and Rhea Ripley) vs. Team Candice (Candice LeRae, Toni Storm, Raquel Gonzalez and Dakota Kai)
  • NXT North American Championship Match: Leon Ruff vs. Johnny Gargano vs. Damian Priest
  • Strap Match: Dexter Lumis vs. Cameron Grimes
  • Tommaso Ciampa vs. Timothy Thatcher
