As the USA eases slowly out of the grips of the COVID-19 pandemic, major sports and entertainment entities have begun to welcome fans back in to venues and WWE was no different, with over 20,000 fans in attendance for WrestleMania and plans afoot to return to a live touring schedule in the coming weeks and months.

WWE are likely to mark the occasion by making as much noise as possible, as they should, and it is now being reported that one thing being planned are new sets for their weekly shows.

It is being reported by Andrew Zarian from the Mat Men Podcast (A normally reliable source) that the new sets are currently under construction. WWE have been producing Raw, SmackDown and PPVs from their ThunderDome set, housed in various locations, since August. Before then, the last set refresh took place at the same time SmackDown debuted on Fox in October 2019.

It is expected that WWE will begin to welcome fans back on a full-time basis in mid-July. Other than WrestleMania, this will be the first time fans have been present for a main roster show since March 2020. AEW have already announced they will begin to take Dynamite back on the road in July.
