Canyon Ceman, who has served as WWE’s Senior Vice President of Talent Development, has reportedly been released by the company.
According to Pro Wrestling Insider, he was let go yesterday, Friday 23rd July.
Ceman had been with the company since 2012, starting as Senior Director of Talent Relations before being promoted to his Vice President role in August 2015.
It is a significant shake-up, as Ceman has been an influential figure in scouting and forming relationships with talents, as well as overseeing elements of NXT.
With so many releases of late it is no surprise that confidence would be low and anyone dealing with talent would be under a microscope, and hopefully Ceman’s release is not a kneejerk reaction to this.
