Recently Released ROH Champion Attends WWE Tryout

Rok-C with ROH Women's World Championship

ROH Women’s World Champion, Rok-C, has been seen in photographs taken at the December 2021 WWE tryouts.

Rok-C has been a member of the Ring of Honor roster since April 2021 and was part of a tournament in the summer to crown the inaugural ROH Women’s World Champion.

She emerged victorious from battles with Sumie Sakai, Quinn McKay, and Angelina Love to claim a place in the final at Death Before Dishonor XVIII on September 12th. At the show, she defeated Miranda Alize to win the fold, becoming the youngest women’s champion in ROH history in the process at only 19-years-old.

At Final Battle in December, an event that marked the end of an era for Ring of Honor as the company goes on hiatus, she defeated Willow Nightengale to retain the championship.

Following Rok-C’s successful defence, IMPACT star and current AAA Reina de Reinas Champion Deonna Purrazzo made an unexpected return to ROH to challenge her to a winner takes all match at a future IMPACT event.

Recently, WWE has released photographs of their latest tryouts, held at the Performance Centre in December. The pictures show that Rok-C was one of the many WWE hopefuls.

Rok-C will next appear at MLW Blood and Thunder 2022 on January 21st. She will be the first opponent of Miranda Gordy, the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Terry ‘Bam Bam’ Gordy, who was best known for his time as one of The Fabulous Freebirds.
