Randy Orton Praises Fellow WWE Star For Creating WrestleMania Moment

Randy Orton

Following success at WrestleMania 38, Randy Orton has heaped praise on his RK-Bro partner Riddle for pulling off a move he could never do and creating his own ‘Mania moment.

Despite having the odds stacked against them through the triple-threat stipulation, RK-Bro were successful in retaining the Raw Tag Team Championships at ‘The Showcase Of The Immortals’ in Dallas, Texas as they overcame Alpha Academy and The Street Profits. The end of the match came with a pair of RKO’s – Riddle hitting a springboard to take Montez Ford off the top rope, and Randy Orton catching Chad Gable with one in midair to get the pinfall.

In a WWE backstage interview with Sarah Schreiber after the match, ‘The Viper’ made a point of how incredible Riddle’s move was, and saying it was a variant of the move he would never be able to do.

You needed your WrestleMania moment. I know this wasn’t your first WrestleMania, but you needed a WrestleMania moment, man. You did something that I could never do with the RKO, and that’s a springboard off the top rope. Brother, that was sick. That was sick.

Randy Orton went on to claim that RK-Bro are the best Tag Team Champions of all time, and that there will be more gold in their future.

Nobody’s better than us. We are the best Tag Team Champions the WWE has ever seen. As a matter of fact, I think we’re the best champions that the WWE has ever seen. The sky’s the limit, man, the sky’s the limit. There’s some more titles around here running around somewhere. We will grab some more titles when the time comes.

RK-Bro won the Raw Tag Team Championships back on 7th March, again in a triple-threat match which also included holders at the time Alpha Academy, and on that occasion the team of Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens.
