At a recent WWE live event in the United Kingdom, footage has surfaced showing Randy Orton jumping in to assist a distressed youngster.
Randy Orton recently took part in WWE’s UK tour, which included an eight-day series of shows featuring a slew of WWE Superstars in between appearances on Raw and SmackDown in the United States.
Randy Orton, one-half of the Raw Tag Team Champions, appeared at the first four UK events before returning to the US to compete on Monday Night Raw on November 8th. When he and Riddle returned to Raw, they teamed up with The Street Profits to take on The Dirty Dogs, AJ Styles, and Omos.
Orton and Riddle took on The Dirty Dogs and The Street Profits at an event in Birmingham during Orton’s time in the UK. The Viper celebrated with the crowd after the match, mingling with young fans at ringside.
During the celebrations, Randy Orton was seen moving in to aid a small child who was being pressed against the security barrier by the crowd. Before leaning in and confirming that everything was well, Orton told the fans to move back and give each other space.
In the aftermath of the Astroworld Festival disaster in Houston, Texas, the footage has taken on new significance. A massive crowd surge at the event headlined by rapper Travis Scott resulted in the deaths of eight people aged 14 to 27. Several people were also seriously hurt, including a nine-year-old boy.
