New Member Of Team Raw Confirmed For WWE Survivor Series

Following last night’s edition of Raw, a fourth member of the red brand’s Survivor Series team has been named.

Braun Strowman forced his way on to the team in curious fashion with a triple threat victory over his now teammates, Sheamus and Keith Lee.

It was a curious match for a number of reasons, chiefly that it was hard to understand why Sheamus and Keith Lee would want to fight to keep a talent as accomplished as Strowman from their team. What incentive was there for them.

Secondly, both Sheamus and Strowman seemed to act very much in a babyface fashion towards one another and Lee. Sheamus has been a heel for years on WWE TV and Strowman has leaned heel for the last month or so. No word on why their attitudes would suddenly alter.

With AJ Styles as the other member on the team, this leaves one spot open for Raw at Survivor Series. Team SmackDown so far consists of Kevin Owens and Jey Uso, with three more members to be determined.

Survivor Series will take place from the WWE ThunderDome at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

The event will be broadcast on the WWE Network and the currently confirmed card is as follows:

  • WWE Champion Randy Orton vs Universal Champion Roman Reigns
  • SmackDown Champion Sasha Banks vs. Raw Champion Asuka
  • Raw Tag Team Champions The New Day vs. SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Street Profits
  • Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn vs. United States Champion Bobby Lashley
  • Male Survivor Series Elimination Match: Team Raw (AJ Styles, Keith Lee, Sheamus, Braun Strowman & TBC) vs. Kevin Owens, Jey Uso, TBC, TBC & TBC
