Mariah Carey Would “Love To See” WWE Stars Singing Legendary Christmas Song

Mariah Carey in the music video for her iconic Christmas song.

Music icon Mariah Carey has claimed she’d love to hear WWE superstars singing her songs after Roman Reigns discussed a prank he played on his daughter when dropping her off at school.

Current Universal Champion Roman Reigns appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and got involved in the heated debate about when it is too soon to play Christmas songs, making it clear that he is on the side that it’s never too early.

She was explaining to me about how right now the whole Christmas music before Thanksgiving is a big thing, they’re gonna cancel this whole situation and Mariah Carey, and that’s just craziness to me.

Roman Reigns continued by playing Mariah Carey’s iconic ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ out the window of the car as he dropped his daughter off for school.

So we’re pulling up, I’m dropping her off at school. There’s a little circle you have to drop them off at, and as soon as we pull up to this circle, I just crank up ‘All I Want For Christmas is you’. I turn it down to tell her I love her and goodbye, then as soon as she opens the door I just crank it up again!

She melts, then literally there’s five of her friends turning the corner and going to class that witness this whole situation. she closes the door as fast as she can.

Then there’s a second where she’s, ‘Oh no’. She’s got a project in the back seat and has to reopen the door [and I crank it up again].

After hearing the interview, sportswriter Doug Rush suggested the ‘Tribal Chief’ and his cousins the Usos should do some SmackDown Christmas karaoke with the song. It was at this point Mariah Carey herself dipped in to the conversation:

Whilst Reigns may have one eye on the festive season, he has also been looking at potential challengers within the wrestling wold. Although it didn’t happen as expected last night at Survivor Series, ‘The Tribal Chief’ spoke of how he would expect The Rock to return to the squared circle.
