Other than a small but pivotal appearance during his brother Jey’s feud with their cousin Roman Reigns last year, Jimmy Uso has been absent from WWE for over a year after suffering an ACL injury around the time of WrestleMania 36.

On this week’s ‘Throwback’ edition of SmackDown he made his long-awaited return to first confront and then join his family.

At the start of the episode, Universal Champion Roman Reigns announced Jimmy’s return to SmackDown but the reunion soon turned sour as Jimmy took his brother and cousin to task for the way they have acted in his absence. Specifically showing disgust for Jey’s subservience towards The Head Of The Table.

However, this position didn’t last long. During the main event segment of the evening, the multi-time former tag team champion attempted to save his family from an attack by the new number one contender to Reigns’ title, Cesaro.

He seemed reluctant to join in the action so it may transpire that he doesn’t simply ‘fall in line’ with the rest of the family easily. All three were ultimately taken down by Cesaro who stood tall to end the show.
