Kurt Angle Picks Who He’d Make The Faces Of Raw & SmackDown

Former WWE Champion Kurt Angle has revealed who he would choose as the faces of Raw and SmackDown, as well as an unexpected pick for a future WrestleMania headline match.

Big E and Roman Reigns, who hold the WWE and Universal Championships respectively, lead their respective brands into Survivor Series. The two men will face off in a Champion vs. Champion bout at the event, which has been on the minds of fans since Big E won the WWE Championship back in September.

Kurt Angle disclosed who he would have as his two top stars on Raw and SmackDown on a recent episode of The Kurt Angle Show. The Olympic gold medallist stated he would choose the “two best in the organisation,” Roman Reigns and Randy Orton, in response to a fan’s comment:

“My two champions are the two best in the company, Roman Reigns and Randy Orton.”

Intriguingly, the WWE Hall of Famer also named a possible main event for a future WrestleMania. Kurt Angle stated he’d love to see his old rival AJ Styles and Finn Balor face off on the ‘Grandest stage of them all,’ because both are “unbelievable” in the squared circle:

“WrestleMania main event, a new one and one I would love to see would be AJ Styles vs. Finn Balor. I think that match would be incredible, and I would love to see that at WrestleMania as a main event. Both those guys are unbelievable in the ring.”
