Impact Wrestling Reveal Former WWE Women’s Champion Jazz As Mystery Entrant In Knockouts Tag Title Tournament

Impact Knockouts Tag Tournament Brackets

Earlier this month, Impact Wrestling revealed that they would be reviving their Knockouts Tag Team Championship by means of an 8 team tournament to culminate at their ‘Hard To Kill’ event on January 16th 2021.

At Turning Point last week, the bracket was announced which included seven complete teams as well as Jordynne Grace and a then unconfirmed mystery partner.

On last night’s episode of ‘Impact On AXS’, that mystery partner was revealed as former WWE Women’s Champion, Jazz.

One of the most revered women’s wrestlers in the first decade of the millennium, Jazz competed on and off in WWE between 2001-2007, winning the title on two occasions. Previous to that she made waves in ECW and even wrestled in AEW as recently as last year when she took part in the Casino Battle Royal at the All Out PPV in August 2019.

Just last month, in October, Jazz announced her retirement from professional wrestling in order to spend more time with her children. She has cited a desire to leave the business as a champion for wanting to take part in this tournament.

Remarkably, given her career years and the strength of the Knockout’s division, this will mark Jazz’s debut in Impact Wrestling. Her and Grace will face Killer Kelly and Renee Michele in a first round match next week on Impact.
