Hulk Hogan has showcased the results of his recent weight loss, despite reports that he is suffering from “really bad” health problems.
Ric Flair discussed his relationship with Hulk Hogan on a recent episode of his Wooooo Nation Uncensored podcast, commenting that his friend was suffering from “really bad health issues.” The 16-time World Champion gave no further details, instead thanking Hogan for his support during his own health issues.
Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke recently revealed that the WWE Hall of Famer had undergone yet another surgery, his 25th in the last decade.
A markedly slimmer Hogan appears to have moved to alleviate fans’ concerns about his health, posting on social media showing off his dramatic weight loss and commenting that he’s down to 275lbs – the same as he weighed in the 9th grade.
Ric Flair revealed on his podcast that Hulk Hogan had visited him in the hospital when he was struggling with his own health battles and helped him financially when his late son Reid was dealing with his own medical issues:
“Also, which I’ve said publicly when my son was going through all of the issues in the hospital, I couldn’t keep up with the rehab bills or the hospital bills because every time I gave [Reid] the responsibility of paying his own insurance, something would lapse like his phone bill.”
“Sometimes you had to teach him how to be responsible. I called [Hogan] one day and I said ‘I need $14,000.’ He said ‘call this person’ and I had it in an hour. I’ve never forgotten it.”
Hulk Hogan last appeared on WWE television as one of the hosts of WrestleMania 37 in April 2021 alongside Titus O’Neill.
