Huge Return on NXT Halloween Havoc. New Stable Formed?

NXT Halloween Havoc

On a night of huge news and excitement at Halloween Havoc, Pete Dunne has made his return to NXT and seemingly aligned himself with Pat McAfee’s new stable.

The return came around when McAfee came to the ring with the new Tag Team Champions Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch to explain what happened last week when the team shockingly teamed up with the ex-NFL player in his feud with Adam Cole and the Undisputed Era.

McAfee also confirmed he paid ‘that fat som’bitch’ Ridge Holland to take out Cole at NXT TakeOver 31, but the Brit’s injury put a spanner in the works for his plan.

This segment was interrupted by Kyle O’Reilly from the Undisputed Era who came without his injured stablemates. He did say he came with back up though, in the form of The Brusierweight himself.

It is Dunne’s first appearance in NXT since the pandemic halted transatlantic flights in March. He looked in fantastic shape and the fans on screen were clearly delighted to see him.

It did not, however, take a wrestling mind reader to see what was coming next. Dunne turned on O’Reilly and seemingly joined forces with the heel group as a more than acceptable replacement for fellow Brit, Holland.

This story continues to develop and we now have a fresh, four man team of heels opposing the now babyface Undisputed Era just as we go into November.

That can mean only one thing:

War Games is coming.
