Hit Row Pay Tribute To B-Fab On SmackDown Following WWE Release

B-Fab as a member of Hit Row prior to her WWE release.

B-Fab was released by WWE on 4th November, and Hit Row took the opportunity to pay tribute to their former teammate on the following day’s episode of SmackDown.

The Hit Row combination of Isaiah “Swerve” Scott, Top Dolla, Ashante “Thee” Adonis and B-Fab was originally formed in Mat 2021 as part of NXT. The team quickly gained popularity, and was moved to Friday Night SmackDown as part of the 2021 Draft this past October.

Despite being moved to the blue brand so recently, B-Fab was released from her contract on 4th November and was the only member of the team to be let go. The raft of releases also included the likes of Franky Monet, Nia Jax and Karrion Kross. This also came about just a week after the star reportedly signed a new deal with the company.

Just a day after her release, Hit Row seemingly paid tribute by using a known line in a promo.

During one of their segments when Sami Zayn was giving the team advice, Top Dolla said that Zayn looked “Big mad”, a phrase which B-Fab was known for. Dolla later seemed to confirm it was a nod to her when he retweeted a user who mentioned the moment.

Top Dolla- Sami I know you big mad… Clear tribute to B-Fab and we love it.

There has been plenty of discussion surrounding the releases made by WWE on 5th November. Keith Lee was perhaps one of the more shocking names, considering he had only been repacked as ‘Bearcat’ a few weeks prior. He has now denied that the character was one of his own creation.
