Hacksaw Jim Duggan has provided an update after he recently underwent emergency surgery.
Hacksaw Jum Duggan’s official social media account reported on October 20th that the WWE Hall of Famer had undergone emergency surgery earlier that day.
His wife Debra’s post didn’t go into detail about the procedure, merely asking for well-wishes and prayers.
Jim Duggan’s official account has now shared another update revealing that the surgery went well, and thanking fans for their prayers and well wishes.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan began his professional wrestling career in 1979, following a brief stint with the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League. After spending most of the 1980s in Mid-South Wrestling, Duggan joined the WWF in 1987. Duggan had a terrific run here, winning the inaugural Royal Rumble Match and appearing at the first ever Survivor Series.
In 1994, the veteran switched to WCW, where he went on to capture the US and World Television Championships. In 2005, Duggan returned to WWE, where he had brief feuds with Eugene and Cody Rhodes.
In 2011, Duggan was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and the following year he competed in the Royal Rumble.
