Cryptic Message From Karrion Kross Following WWE Release

Karrion Kross

Karrion Kross has taken to social media to post a cryptic video and message following his release from WWE earlier this week.

Kross became a member of the NXT roster back in spring 2020, having come to prominence in IMPACT Wrestling. He was pushed within what was then the black and gold brand extremely quickly, winning the NXT Championship twice with his fiancée Scarlett Bordeaux at his side.

Monday Night Raw beckoned for Kross in July 2021, when he made his debut on the red brand and was beaten by Jeff Hardy in just over a minute – a match which ended his unbeaten run in WWE.

News emerged on 4th November that Karrion Kross, along with Bordeaux and 16 other WWE Superstars, had been released from his contract. Whilst budget cuts were named by many as the main reason for the releases, there have been rumours circulating that at least one competitor was let go because they hadn’t had their COVID-19 vaccine.

Kross has now sent a message to fans on social media following his release:

I heard you all the entire time.

The message is accompanied by a video showing a graveyard while a flickering logo appears at the end.

A number of the released stars have now taken to social media to comment on their release. Scarlett Bordeaux has named a unique type of match she would now like to compete in, and Franky Monet has confirmed she intends to return to her original Taya Valkyrie moniker.

Valkyrie has also responded to a fan on social media who claimed that wrestling companies should focus on hiring younger wrestlers, telling them to “STFU”.
