It seems as if Bray Wyatt has hinted at what may be in store for the future following his WWE release, and he considers ‘The Fiend’ character a part of it.
The former WWE Universal Champion was released on 31st July 2021, in what came as a shock to many both in and outside the wrestling industry.
According to Dave Meltzer at The Wrestling Observer, budget cuts were cited as the reason for the release, however this seemed somewhat strange with Wyatt seemingly preparing for a return to the company in August.
After keeping silent on social media for a long time following his release Wyatt, real name Windham Rotunda, has posted a very cryptic picture on Twitter.

This would imply that Wyatt is ready to make his in-ring comeback, after being out of action for extended periods of this year with an undisclosed physical ailment.
All we do know is that if he finds a way to use a similar character to The Fiend outside of WWE, albeit potentially using a different name, he will look forward to the enhanced creativity he would be afforded with it.
