Bryan Danielson has explained that while he might like being chopped in the ring, it’s something he wants to keep out of the bedroom.
The American Dragon Bryan Danielson has earned himself a reputation as a man who revels in delivering hard-hitting matches. What’s more is that it’s a reputation that has only been enhanced since joining AEW after a series of wars with the likes of Eddie Kingston and Minoru Suzuki.
Appearing on The Bellas Podcast, Danielson explained that such hard-hitting counters make him feel alive.
“Part of me, I’m not competitive at all, but there’s something about the physical nature of wrestling that just makes me feel alive. The chops, a lot of people hate getting chopped because it does hurt. For whatever reason, I don’t hate it, it makes me feel things. It’s not even a rush, it’s just a sensory experience. I can close my eyes, think of the thing, and experience the vibration of the crowd’s reaction.”
Danielson’s wife, Brie Bella then pondered whether chopping her husband is something that she should consider bringing to the bedroom. It’s fair to say that the AEW star was less than excited about the proposition.
“No, no, no. There are people who are super into that and I don’t want to take anything away from them, that’s other people’s thing. I experience enough pain in my regular life that I do not want it in the bedroom.”
Bryan Danielson is currently preparing for yet another hugely physical match, this time against Miro at AEW Full Gear. The bout serves as the finals of the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament, the winner of the match will an opportunity to challenge for the AEW World Championship.
