Monday night on RAW we saw Braun Strowman earn himself a suspension after headbutting WWE official Adam Pearce.
Following this altercation matches were made and a triple threat match has been announced for next week’s show to decide the new number one contender to the WWE Championship.
Before this week it had been reported that WWE were keen on Strowman facing Drew McIntyre at the TLC PPV for the WWE title, but that now seems to have changed according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio.
So Braun Strowman does have a knee injury because he’s being treated for it. I don’t know the severity of it. The impression I have is that he is not going to be at TLC, so I think the three-way is going to be for the spot, but I don’t know that 100%. I don’t think anyone knows anything anyway. From what someone told me, the writing team still thinks it’s Strowman, that could be wrong.
On RAW we’ll see AJ Styles vs Keith Lee vs Riddle with the winner getting a shot at Drew McIntyre’s championship belt, but whether that’ll take place at TLC or before we don’t yet know, but we do know the event is taking place on December 20th and as soon as we find out more we’ll let you know!
