Big NXT Heel Turn Has TakeOver: War Games Implications

We got a big heel turn last night’s episode of NXT that changed the complexion of the women’s War Games match next month entirely.

The story unfolded in the aftermath of a match between Candice LeRae and Ember Moon. The match ended after interference from Indi Hartwell led to LeRae picking up the win after hitting Moon with the Wicked Stepsister.

Right after the match, Moon found herself at a four-on-one disadvantage against LeRae and Hartwell as well as Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez who had also come down to ringside during the match.

Before any further damage could be inflicted to Moon, fellow recent returnee Toni Storm made her way to the ring to seemingly back up Moon.

In a turn that many would have seen coming, Storm instead yanked Ember Moon out of the ring and joined in the beatdown with her new cohorts.

Later in a show, during a backstage segment, Candice LeRae confirmed that her War Games team would consist of herself, Kai, Gonzalez and Storm. They will face Team Shotzi, the members of which will surely be revealed next week. Expect Ember Moon to be amongst them.
