Becky Lynch announced herself that she would not appear on last night’s edition of Monday Night Raw, and a new report claims that the Raw Women’s Champion is currently missing shows due to a “legitimate injury”.
Before the 7th February edition of Raw, Lynch took to social media to confirm that she wouldn’t be in attendance, claiming that Bianca Belair had caused her to suffer a “fractured voice box”.
Unfortunately I will not be at #WWERaw tonight. Not only did Bianca whip me mercilessly with the illegal weapon that is her hair last week, but last night in the main event of #WWEAllentown she tried to take away my biggest weapon, the spoken word, by fracturing my voice box.
Although many were sceptical that this was a real injury, as can often be the case in the world of professional wrestling, a new report suggests that ‘Becky Biceps’ will not return immediately as she is actually hurt.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that Becky Lynch will be out of action for the next two weeks due to the injury, meaning she should be back well in advance of her WrestleMania clash with Bianca Belair, a rematch from when ‘The Man’ returned at SummerSlam.
It is currently unclear if the injury is related to what the Raw Women’s Champion discusses in the below social media post, or a separate issue.
No fracture, no spitting blood, no whipping is going to keep me from keeping a title no one has beat me for in 3 years.

Lynch also claimed that she had actually made it to Monday Night Raw before the end of the show in an attempt to get her hands on Belair, however her opponent at ‘The Showcase Of The Immortals’ had already left the arena and was running scared, and that there would be no escaping her at WrestleMania.
